They are available in multiple diameters, making it possible to select a size that fits the next stage of your HDD operation.
The conical shape enlarges the pilot bore progressively. The flutes provide space around the body of the reamer for drilling fluid and loosened material to pass. The right configuration also depends on your drill string connection and pullback setup.
